Fablehaven 4
That sounds like a good boy book. Treasure Island is another one that boys would love! Peter Pan is pretty good too! Also, Sherlock Holmes. Just some suggestions. I'm currently reading Fablehaven 4. For anyone who wants to start the series I have the first book but not the 2nd or 3rd. I love them. They are fantasy books. Younger kids like them too, but you'd have to read out loud because there are lots of words.

good suggestions. i have never read peter pan, can you believe it? i'm waiting for jared to get a little older because my very practical calvin will not appreciate the fantasy element or the idea of finding joy in being without adults.
i've heard the fablehaven books are good. are they better than the leven thumps books? i read the first leven thumps and i didn't really like it.
they are much better than leven thumps. Matt and I both read leven thumps 1 and 2, we liked #1 but didn't like #2, Matt started #3 and said that it was painful! He finally skipped to the end of it, neither one of us has had any interest in reading the 4th book. But Fablehaven is much better! The story is more original and the writing is SO much better! The story is way more interesting too.
Lisa likes those books too. I think she has up to three but hasn't read the 4th yet
i might have to invest then....
